VisionIT CEO selected by President Obama for White House Forum on Modernizing U.S. Government

VisionIT CEO David H. Segura, along with some of the nation’s top private sector and federal government leaders, convened in Washington D.C. as part of the Obama Administration’s White House Forum on Modernizing Government, to discuss new ways to leverage technology in improving government operations.

This prestigious group of 50 CEO’s from industry leading corporations convened under the direction of President Barack Obama to identify ways to streamline government operations, improve customer service and maximize the government’s returns on information technology investments.

Segura was selected to participate based upon the growing reputation of VisionIT as a global leader in technology solutions.

“It is a privilege to take part in such an impactful effort to improve government across the board,” said Segura. “We at VisionIT have provided successful technology solutions with outstanding customer service to our many clients and I look forward to sharing many of these proven solutions as part of this monumental discussion.”

Taking place at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, this one-day forum is designed to harness creativity and technology innovation to make government work better and more user-friendly. President Obama opened the forum which also featured additional breakout sessions to dive deeper into the various areas of technology throughout government.

Additional CEO’s representing leading corporations included Dan Hesse of Sprint Nextel, Jeff Fettig of Whirlpool, Indra Nooyi of PepsiCo, Jeff Bewkes of Time Warner, Scott Davis of UPS, Gary Kelly of Southwest Airlines, Pam Nicholson of Enterprise, Chris Hughes of FaceBook, and Klaus Kleinfeld of Alcoa.
