Marc Kahn serves as Chief Financial Officer of VisionIT.
Kahn started with VisionIT in 1999 as a financial consultant helping the company expand as an early start up by implementing operational metrics and financial controls within the business. In 2005 as the company grew into a larger corporation, Kahn joined VisionIT as its CFO. With oversight of all finance and accounting of its global operations, Kahn has helped VisionIT gain esteemed recognition for its industry leading accounting practices and business processes.
Prior to joining VisionIT, Kahn developed a dynamic career beginning as a CPA with the international accounting firm Coopers & Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouse Coopers). From there, Kahn spent almost 15 years as Controller, Chief Financial Officer and then President of Metro 25 Tire, a national automotive service chain. Kahn was primarily responsible for the strategic business planning, marketing and all financial functions of the Company and its subsidiaries.
In 1997 Kahn founded Synergistic Business Development Corporation (SBDC), a business consulting company providing process improvements, financial consulting, temporary CFO functions and certified public accounting services to clients. In 2001 Kahn also became associated with The Whall Group working on numerous cases including acting as the turnaround CFO for major corporations.
Kahn is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.
He received his BA and MBA from Michigan State University and currently sits on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the Jewish Community Center of Metropolitan Detroit.
