Larry Arreguin serves as Vice President of Government Affairs for VisionIT.
In this role, Arreguin works to expand and enhance VisionIT’s relationships with its current public sector clients, while also pursuing new opportunities across the nation at the city, state, and federal levels of government.
Arreguin’s expertise in government and community affairs spans more than 20 years. His knowledge of government operations and procurement processes is unmatched. His work not only broadens the VisionIT client list, but also helps government identify more operational efficiencies and cost effective processes by implementing VisionIT’s unique staffing, vendor management, and managed services solutions.
Before joining VisionIT, Arreguin served at both the state and county levels of government. He served as Deputy Director of Legislative and Environmental Affairs for the Governor of the State of Michigan. He went on to serve as the Regional Director of the Governor’s Southeast Michigan Office, where he led initiatives that were designed to benefit more than 1.5 million people residing in three counties.
Prior to his tenure with the State of Michigan’s Governor’s Office, Arreguin served as a Legislative Aide for the Chairperson of the Wayne County Commission. In this role he worked to finalize some of the County’s largest economic development projects including Comerica Park, Ford Field, the midfield terminal at Detroit Metropolitan Airport, and the Wayne County Juvenile Justice facility.
Arreguin holds board positions and memberships with the Greening of Detroit, the Chicano-Boricua Studies Community Advisory Board at Wayne State University, the Brownstown Township Construction Board of Appeals, and Great Start Wayne County.
Larry holds a Bachelors degree in Public Affairs from Wayne State University.
